Dubai Parking SMS 2026: Correct 7275 Format, Zones & Fees
For a Dubai plate, send the joined plate code and number, the full parking-zone code and duration to 7275: B45678 123A 2 buys two hours for that example plate and zone. Use the code at your exact bay, including any premium P suffix, and wait for a successful confirmation.

- Read the sign at the space, not on a neighbouring street.
- Join your Dubai plate code and number.
- Add the complete zone and allowed hours with spaces.
- Send to 7275 and check the returned plate, zone and expiry.
The example and one-hour extension rule appear in RTA’s official driving handbook. A registered mParking user can use the registered nickname, zone and hours instead; use this only when the correct vehicle is linked.
Other-emirate and foreign plates
Additional source/category fields may be required. Use the current official parking app’s plate selectors or message generator rather than guessing a code. Company, unusual-category and foreign plates can have different registration requirements.
Premium zones and peak tariffs
Dubai introduced variable public-parking tariffs in April 2025. The official policy announcement identifies peak periods as 8–10 AM and 4–8 PM, excluding Sundays and public holidays.

A P suffix identifies premium codes such as AP, BP, CP and DP. Do not omit it from the message. These are base tariff figures, not a promise of the final SMS charge: applicable VAT and mobile transaction fees must be included. RTA’s parking-services page flags VAT exclusions; use the app, sign and confirmation for the payable total.
How to extend
Reply Y to the reminder before expiry and check the new confirmation. The extension is one hour at the same location, subject to the zone maximum. If you move to another zone, buy a session for the new location rather than extending the previous one.
When SMS fails

Digital enforcement matches the active ticket to the plate. A successful payment for a wrong plate or neighbouring zone is still a problem.
Other payment and free-hour checks
Use the official Parkin/RTA parking services or a machine with its displayed payment options. Public on-street free periods do not apply automatically to private, developer, multi-storey or special-event facilities. Payment also does not authorise parking in a prohibited or permit-only space.
