Dubai to Ras Al Khaimah Bus Timings (2026 Schedule & Fares)

RAKTA lists buses from Dubai Union to Ras Al Khaimah daily from 07:30 to 23:30, with a published one-way fare of AED 30. The reverse RAK-to-Dubai direction starts at 05:00, ends at 21:00 and is listed at AED 27. Most trips have intermediate-city routing; selected departures are direct.

Dubai Union to Ras Al Khaimah departures

The table follows the official RAKTA trip list, checked on 13 October 2026. Times are terminal departures, in the 24-hour clock. Select your actual travel date in Sayr before boarding.

UAQ means Umm Al Quwain. The direct departures at 18:00 and 20:00 do not have the same routing label as the other trips. Do not assume the bus stops at City Centre Ajman, Al Hamra Mall or your hotel simply because it passes that part of the emirate.

RAK to Dubai Union: separate return timetable

RAKTA’s 24 August 2026 service update confirms the earlier 05:00 RAK start, the 23:30 final Dubai departure and 19 journeys in each direction. The full table is more useful than claiming one uniform interval: extra direct trips create shorter gaps at some times.

Fares and how to book

These direction-specific fares replace older figures that mixed different routes and directions. Use RAKTA’s Sayr platform to select the origin, destination, date and departure; review the payable total and booking terms before paying. Sayr supports electronic payment, and RAKTA also documents Saqr for intercity fares. Check the method accepted on the selected trip rather than relying on a nol card for this operator.

Union boarding and the RAK terminal

Union Bus Station is the Dubai departure point, with nearby Red and Green Line connections. Follow the bus-station signs after leaving the Metro, confirm the RAKTA departure bay, and leave time to have your ticket checked. A late Union bus does not imply that the Metro is still running when you return.

In RAK, plan around the main bus station in South Al Dhait. The terminal is separate from the northern Al Nakheel area, Al Hamra resorts and Al Marjan Island. Match the arrival terminal in Sayr and plan your final bus or taxi to the exact address.

Journey duration and onward travel

RAKTA’s trip list does not provide fixed arrival times. Duration depends on whether the selected trip is direct or via other cities and on road traffic. Use the selected service’s journey information and add time for your onward connection; do not treat a generic 90-minute estimate as an appointment guarantee.

The Orange city route links the main South Al Dhait station with Al Nakheel. Check its current timetable separately. For a resort or Jebel Jais visit, arrange the onward journey before leaving Dubai, especially if arriving on the final intercity bus.

Airport travel, luggage and accessibility

This Union service is not an airport-to-hotel shuttle. Travellers arriving at Dubai International Airport should plan the airport-to-Union leg separately or book an airport transfer whose operator confirms the terminal, hotel, fare and departure.
