How we research
We build our guides on primary, authoritative sources. For UAE services that means the official websites, apps, PDFs and helplines of the responsible authorities and providers, such as:
- ICP (Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security) and GDRFA for identity, visas and residency
- RTA, the Ministry of Interior and Emirate police portals for driving, fines and transport
- TDRA and providers e& (Etisalat) and du for telecom
- DEWA, FEWA, SEWA and similar authorities for utilities
- MOHRE for labour and employment services
How we verify and test
Wherever it is practical and lawful to do so, we follow the actual process ourselves — opening the app, navigating the portal and noting each screen, fee and requirement — so our steps match what you will really see. When a process cannot be tested directly, we corroborate details across multiple official sources before publishing.
