F31 Bus Timetable Dubai 2026: Times, Stops, Route & Fare
F31 links Dubai Internet City Metro with The Greens, The Lakes, Emirates Hills, The Springs and The Meadows. It is a circular RTA feeder with repeated stops on its outward and return sections. Use the correct stop row when looking up a departure: an early bus can begin at The Meadows rather than at the Metro.

Times use the 24-hour clock. A time after midnight belongs to the following calendar day of that service. Read the row for your boarding stop: arrival back at the Metro is not another departure.
Why The Meadows shows an earlier first bus
The timetable includes a 04:25 journey beginning at The Meadows, Dubai British School on Monday-Saturday, and 07:23 on Sunday. Those are return-section starts, not Metro departures. Some late columns also finish at the school rather than completing the circuit; do not assume every advertised bus returns all the way to Dubai Internet City.
Frequency and journey time
Departures are not evenly spaced. For example, the Friday Metro row begins 05:05, 05:45 and 06:22, and ends 22:35, 23:40 and 00:51. The Sunday morning row begins 08:05, 09:15 and 10:30. A blanket “every 30 minutes” estimate is therefore unsuitable for the first or final trip.
As a schedule example, Friday’s 05:05 Metro departure reaches The Meadows, Dubai British School at 05:31 and returns to the Metro at 06:04. That is 26 minutes to the school and 59 minutes for that full circuit; later trips and traffic can take longer.
F31 route and stops in loop order
From the landside Metro stop, the bus passes Al Barsha Heights, The Greens and The Lakes before the Springs/Meadows gates. The return serves Dubai International Academy and Regent International School, then The Greens and Al Barsha Heights again. Choosing a Meadows, Springs or school stop
- The Meadows: choose the entrance-gate number or Town Centre that matches your address; “The Meadows” covers a large community.
- Dubai British School: use the timetable label “The Meadows, Dubai British School” and check the walk to the specific campus you intend to visit.
- Dubai International Academy and Regent International School: these occur on the return portion, so a Metro-origin trip reaches them after the Meadows section.
- The Greens: compare Terminus, Al Dhafra, Al Arta and Al Sidir rather than getting off at the first stop with “Greens” in its name.
Before boarding in a community, check whether the selected stop is heading toward the Metro or continuing deeper into the loop. Staying onboard for the full circuit can add a considerable detour.
F31 fare, nol balance and Metro transfers
RTA charges Dubai bus trips by the zones in the complete journey. The official Silver nol fares are:

These are fare bands, not a flat price for every F31 ride. Tap the same nol card on boarding and leaving. RTA requires at least AED 7.50 balance to check in, even when the eventual deduction is lower. Cash is not accepted on RTA buses.
A Metro-to-bus transfer within 30 minutes of checking out can be combined into one journey, subject to RTA’s transfer rules. The fare depends on all zones travelled; a feeder is not automatically free regardless of the rest of your trip.
Check the next F31 bus and the return journey
- Open S’hail or the RTA Journey Planner and select the actual travel date.
- Choose Dubai Internet City Metro Bus Stop Landside and your specific destination, such as The Meadows, Town Centre.
- Select the F31 option and inspect the boarding stop, route direction and departure. A similar name on the other side of the road can serve a different part of the loop.
- Repeat for the return trip. For late travel, check the final Red Line connection separately.
Connections and practical travel advice
Dubai Internet City is the Red Line interchange. If your destination is Production City, compare F34; for Al Barsha and The Greens from Mall of the Emirates, compare F35. The fastest route depends on the exact community gate and walking distance.
Allow extra time around school opening and dismissal, request your stop before reaching the gate, and top up nol before entering the bus. RTA city buses provide air conditioning and priority seating; if you need ramp access, signal the driver and confirm the selected stop has a suitable boarding area.
