How to Go to Dubai Creek Harbour by Metro? A 2026 Guide

Quick answer: Dubai Creek Harbour has no Metro station yet. The public-transport route is the Green Line to Creek station (G30) in Al Jaddaf, then a short walk to Al Jaddaf Marine Station and the CR11 abra across the water to Dubai Creek Harbour. CR11 runs every day from about 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, usually every 15 minutes, and costs AED 2 a trip. A Blue Line station inside Creek Harbour is under construction for 2029.

Step by step: Metro and CR11 abra

  1. Board the Green Line towards Creek. If you start on the Red Line, change to the Green Line at Union or BurJuman.
  2. Get off at Creek station (G30), the last stop on the Green Line, in Al Jaddaf.
  3. Follow the signs and walk to Al Jaddaf Marine Station on the creek-side.
  4. Board the CR11 abra to Dubai Creek Harbour Marine Station. Pay AED 2 with your nol card or at the station.
  5. From Dubai Creek Harbour Marine Station, walk along the promenade to your building, restaurant or Creek Beach.

Creek station and Creek Harbour sit on opposite sides of the water, so do not expect to walk straight across; the abra is the shortest public link. For a Metro route map, see our Dubai Metro map.

Saturday05:00 to 00:00

On a Sunday the first Metro is at 8:00 AM, but the first CR11 abra is at 7:00 AM, so an early Sunday trip needs a taxi or bus to Al Jaddaf. More detail: Dubai Metro timings.

Weekend boat from Dubai Festival City (CR9)

If you are on the Festival City side, the CR9 abra links Dubai Festival City Marine Station with Dubai Creek Harbour on Saturdays and Sundays only, from about 4:00 PM to 11:45 PM, every 20 minutes. It does not run Monday to Friday.

Taking a taxi from the Metro

A taxi is the simplest last leg if you have luggage, arrive after the last abra or are heading to a building away from the marina. Take the Metro to Creek station and pick up a taxi there, or use ride-hailing apps. Fares depend on traffic and the exact pickup point, so check the estimate in the app rather than relying on an old fixed price.
