Five SIM Number Check guide featuring a smartphone with a SIM-card and contact/profile icon

FIVE SIM Number Check UAE: Reliable Ways to Find Your Number

Quick answer: FIVE (the prepaid brand on the e& network) does not publish a dedicated “check my number” code. The quickest reliable ways to find your FIVE number are the SIM holder card or receipt, your phone’s SIM settings, a test call to a friend’s phone, or FIVE customer care on 800 544. If you hold an Emirates ID, TDRA’s free Hesabati service also lists every active number registered to you, including FIVE lines.

1. Check the SIM holder card or receipt

FIVE SIMs are sold by retailers and e& outlets, and the number is normally printed on the plastic holder the SIM came in, on a sticker, or on the shop receipt. Look for a ten-digit number starting with 05. Do not copy the long serial number instead:

NumberWhat it isHow to tell
Mobile numberYour phone number05X XXX XXXX locally; +971 5X XXX XXXX internationally
ICCID (SIM serial)The physical card’s ID19 or 20 digits, usually starting 89971
PUKCode to unlock a blocked SIM8 digits
Voucher or recharge PINA top-up codePrinted under a scratch panel

If the SIM was replaced, the new card keeps the same mobile number but has a different serial, so an old receipt is still valid for the number.

2. Look in your phone settings

PhonePath
iPhoneSettings, then Phone, then My Number (or Settings, then Mobile Service, then the FIVE line)
SamsungSettings, then About phone, then Phone number
Other Android phonesSettings, then About phone, then Status or SIM status
Dual-SIM phonesOpen the SIM manager and check the entry for the FIVE slot

Phones only display a number if it is stored on the SIM. Many prepaid SIMs leave this field empty, so “Unknown” does not mean anything is wrong with your line. Confirm with another method before giving the number to anyone for a recharge or transfer.

3. Make a test call or send an SMS

  1. On a dual-SIM phone, choose the FIVE SIM for outgoing calls.
  2. Call or text a friend or a second phone you own.
  3. Read the number displayed on the receiving phone.
  4. Save it in your contacts under a clear name such as “My FIVE”.

A local call costs 38 fils a minute and a local SMS 32 fils on FIVE, so a short call costs very little. It will not work if your balance is zero and you have no minutes, if the line is suspended, or if caller ID is hidden.

4. Use the Five app

The Five app (listed on Google Play as FiveSIM) is built only for FIVE SIM customers and works in Hindi and English. Once you are registered, the app shows the line you are managing, its balance and usage, and lets you recharge by debit card or voucher, buy minutes and data packs and reserve credit. If you have not registered yet, you will need your number first, so use one of the other methods.

5. Call FIVE customer care on 800 544

FIVE’s customer care number is 800 544, free from mobile, with a multi-language service. Explain that you need to confirm the number of your own SIM. Have your Emirates ID or passport ready, because the line is registered to your ID and the agent will verify your identity before sharing account details. You can also visit an e& outlet with your ID and the SIM.

6. Check all numbers on your Emirates ID with Hesabati

FIVE lines run on the e& network and are registered to your Emirates ID, so they appear in TDRA’s Hesabati service:

  1. Go to the TDRA website or app and open Hesabati.
  2. Sign in with UAE PASS.
  3. If asked, choose Create an account.
  4. Wait a few minutes for the list of active numbers, with each line’s type, plan and registration expiry date.

If a number appears that you do not recognise, use the Make A Complaint option under it, or call TDRA on 800 12. Only active numbers are listed.

Why your FIVE number might not work

FIVE numbers have lifetime validity, but only if you use them. According to FIVE’s rules:

SituationWhat happens
Line used at least once every 3 monthsStays active
No use for 3 months in a rowRemaining balance is forfeited and the line is suspended
Recharged within 30 days after suspensionLine is restored
Not recharged within those 30 daysThe line ends and the number can be lost
Emirates ID registration expiredServices can be limited until the registration is renewed

If you have not used a FIVE SIM for months, recharge it quickly with an e& voucher (enter the voucher and call 120) and check it works before sharing the number again.

Useful FIVE codes once you know your number

CodeWhat it does

Frequently asked questions

Is there a code to check my FIVE SIM number?

FIVE’s published code list does not include a number-check code. Use the SIM pack, phone settings, a test call, the Five app or customer care on 800 544.

What is the FIVE customer care number?

800 544, free from mobile, with support in several languages.

Does *121# show my FIVE number?

*121# is FIVE’s balance check. Rely on it for your balance, not your number.

Is the long number on my SIM card my phone number?

No. The 19 or 20-digit number is the SIM serial (ICCID). Your phone number has 10 digits and starts with 05.

How do I write my FIVE number for an international caller?

Replace the first 0 with +971. For example, 050 123 4567 becomes +971 50 123 4567.

Can I check my FIVE number without internet?

Yes. The SIM pack, phone settings, a test call and 800 544 all work without data.

Will my FIVE number expire?

Only if you stop using it. After 3 months without use the balance is forfeited and the line suspended, and it ends if you do not recharge within the next 30 days.

Codes, rules and contact details were checked on FIVE’s official website and e&’s FIVE pages on 20 October 2026.
