du Monthly Local Call Packages: Minutes, Add-ons & Value (2026)
Quick answer: du’s monthly minute add-ons for prepaid lines cost AED 10 for 30 Flexi minutes, AED 20 for 60, AED 30 for 90 and AED 40 for 120, each valid for 4 weeks and VAT included. Flexi minutes cover local calls and international calls to 93 countries. If you also need data, du’s minute-and-data combos start at AED 36.75. For heavier calling, Prepaid Flexi plans let you choose up to 1,000 Flexi minutes every 4 weeks, and postpaid Power Plans include 200 to 3,000 national minutes a month.
du monthly minute packs (prepaid)
These voice add-ons are sold to du prepaid lines on du’s online shop and in the du app. Prices include 5% VAT.
| Pack | Validity | Price | Cost per minute | Use for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 30 Flexi minutes | 4 weeks | AED 10 | 33 fils | Local calls or international calls to 93 countries |
| 60 Flexi minutes | 4 weeks | AED 20 | 33 fils | Local and international |
| 90 Flexi minutes | 4 weeks | AED 30 | 33 fils | Local and international |
| 120 Flexi minutes | 4 weeks | AED 40 | 33 fils | Local and international |
All four packs work out at the same 33 fils a minute, so a bigger pack only saves you the trouble of buying again; it does not lower the rate. Buy the smallest pack that covers your normal month and add another if you run out.
Minutes plus data: du combo packs
If you want calls and data together, du’s 30-day combos are usually better value than buying minutes and data separately.
| Combo | Minutes | Data | Validity | Price with VAT |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 15 Flexi minutes + 750MB | 15 Flexi | 750MB full speed | 30 days | AED 36.75 |
| 30 Flexi minutes + 1.5GB | 30 Flexi | 1.5GB full speed | 30 days | AED 52.50 |
| 100 Flexi minutes + 3GB | 100 Flexi | 3GB full speed | 30 days | AED 105 |
| 150 Flexi minutes + 6GB | 150 Flexi | 6GB full speed | 30 days | AED 157.50 |
| Non-stop data & non-stop calls | Non-stop calls (fair use applies) | Low-speed non-stop data (192 Kbps for the first 150MB, then 72 Kbps) | 30 days | AED 55 |
| Non-stop data + 60 minutes | 60 | Non-stop data at 192 Kbps, 155MB daily fair use | 30 days | AED 60 |
The two “non-stop” combos suit people who mainly call and message: the data speed is too slow for video, but fine for WhatsApp text and email.
Unlimited calls to one du number
Two du prepaid options include free unlimited calling to a single du number:
- Prepaid Easy: recharge AED 25 or more every 4 weeks and you get unlimited calls to 1 du number for 4 weeks. Easy SIMs cost AED 35 (Easy 35, online offer) or AED 45, with the same amount loaded as credit.
- Prepaid Flexi: every Flexi plan includes unlimited calls to 1 du number, plus free internet calls and a free special number.
If most of your local calls go to one person on du, this can replace a minute pack completely.
Prepaid Flexi plans: choose your own minutes
With Prepaid Flexi you build a plan by picking a data amount (2GB to 50GB) and a number of Flexi minutes for local and international calls: 30, 60, 90, 120, 200, 400 or 1,000 minutes. Benefits refresh every 4 weeks.
| Flexi feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Minute options | 30, 60, 90, 120, 200, 400 or 1,000 Flexi minutes every 4 weeks |
| Data options | 2GB, 4GB, 6GB, 10GB, 15GB, 25GB or 50GB |
| Included free | Unlimited calls to 1 du number, internet calls, a special number |
| Payment | Every 4 weeks, or yearly upfront at 50% off |
| Yearly example | A plan shown at AED 169 every 4 weeks costs AED 84.50 per 4 weeks when paid yearly (AED 1,098.50 upfront) |
| Try and buy | 14-day trial with a money-back guarantee |
| Online extra | An extra 60GB on yearly plans bought online |
Flexi is the better choice when you need more than 120 minutes a month; buying four 120-minute add-ons would cost AED 160 for 480 minutes, while Flexi lets you choose a bigger minute block inside one plan.
Postpaid: national minutes in du Power Plans
On postpaid, minutes come inside the monthly plan rather than as add-ons. du’s Power Plans on a 12-month contract include national minutes (calls within the UAE):
| Plan | National minutes | National data | Monthly price (before VAT) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Power Plan 125 | 200 | 4GB | AED 125 |
| Power Plan 200 | 800 | 13GB, with carry-over of up to 6.5GB | AED 200 |
| Power Plan 300 Data | 1,600 | Non-stop, up to 10 Mbps | AED 300 (AED 210 for the first 6 months on offer) |
| Power Plan 350 Data | 2,000 | Non-stop, up to 50 Mbps | AED 350 (AED 245 for 6 months on offer) |
| Power Plan 500 Data | 3,000 | Unlimited, no speed cap | AED 500 (AED 300 for 6 months on offer) |
Promotional discounts apply for a limited period at the start of the contract; check the current offer in the du shop. Postpaid customers can also add talk-time through the du app.
